Novesta has been making natural rubber sole and cotton canvas shoes in the same factory since it opened in Partizánske, Slovakia in 1939. They only produce shoes from natural materials from environmentally responsible sources and no chemicals or glue are used in the process, so these beauties are friendly on your feet and our precious planet. The natural rubber soles are pressed onto the canvas uppers using the traditional machinery, a process that gives Novesta sneakers their signature chunky midsole with its recognisable track pattern. The signature Novesta model, the Star Master is a classic lace-up sneaker featuring Novesta’s iconic chunky vulcanised rubber sole.
